The 12U Storm had a great Mother's Day weekend going 4-1 and finishing runner-up in the 14-team Batter-Up Classic.
The boys went 3-0 in pool play to advance to bracket play on Sunday with a 7-5 win over the Kenston Bombers, 7-5 win over Shaker Heights and 27-3 win over Cleveland Heights.
The highlight of the weekend was on Sunday in the semi-finals against Final Score Heat Baseball when the boys came back from a late inning 6-1 deficit to score three runs in the 6th inning and two runs in the 7th inning to tie it and force extra innings before eventually winning it 7-6 in 9 innings and move on to the championship game! They almost did it again in the championship falling behind 9-2 before rallying to make it 9-7 before eventually falling 13-10 to the Medina Sting Black team.
Great job once again from the boys! They never give up!
